Al suo interno è divisa in due livelli: il piano terra voltato a cupola e il secondo con copertura piana, messi in comunicazione da una scala interna alla muratura. Built in the middle of the sixteenth century, it has a massive wall structure made of blocks of granite and porphyry. The tower, guarding the harbour, was equipped with cannons and mortars, and was subject to numerous attacks and landing attempts over the centuries. Inside it is divided into two levels: the ground floor with dome vault and the second with a flat roof, which were connected by a staircase inside the wall.
