There is a composition depicting Christ in Majesty between four saints in the apsidal conch, whilst twenty-four elderly men (the Elders) are depicted in the eastern vault, the one nearest the apse. They are arranged in a circle and are praising the Spiritual Lamb, the symbol of Christ. In the western vault, near the entrance to the church, some angel figures are depicted which may perhaps be interpreted as the angels guarding the Paradise.
