The Pauli Arbarei Women's Museum offers a unique journey into the country's past, told directly by the voices of the women who have experienced it. Through audiovisual media and poor but precious objects, we discover the story of a community that has thrived in harmony.
Women's testimonies guide us in a hard but full of life existence, where work merged with feelings and parties. A collection of audiovisuals shows the multiple facets of Pauli Arbarei's woman:

  • Mothers playing with their children
  • Machine workers on the loom and in the fields
  • Modern and fascinating women, attentive to progress and fashion
  • Religious women, guardians of values and of an ancient civilization

The museum, with its particular layout, offers an Interactive multimedia and sensory museum experience. The exhibition is inspired by the sixteenth-century wunderkammerns, creating an initial sense of wonder, where every object is immediately visible. The exhibition itinerary is structured on several levels to involve the visitor:

  • Background: ancient photographs evocative of the places of time
  • Captions: short texts that frame the ten themes of the museum
  • Objects: historical pieces that can be touched and manipulated for full immersion

This traditional approach integrates with multimedia technology. The touch tables allow you to deepen your visit with additional videos and photos. The museum's website also offers a rich online experience, with texts, photos and videos, acting as an invitation for a real visit to Pauli Arbarei.
