Palazzo Vigliaroni is located along the main street of the town, in an irregular and sloping area.
Built for the state official Pietro Vigliaroni, to a design by the engineer Efisio Garau, it was finished in 1905 as can be read in the extraordinary corner cartouche, held by a lion entwined with palm leaves and fruits. The irregularity of the available lot has forced a series of facades, each of which shows different aspects according to a hierarchy that from the main floor to the last progressively lightens the decorative apparatus, oscillating between historicist references (arches and pilasters) and modernist fantasies.
Equally interesting is the care of the materials often used for chromatic contrast, which is mainly evident in windows, decorated and characterized by openings of different shapes even in the windows: the fixture on the main floor, which folds perfectly following the sinuous arch of the window, is particularly worthy of attention.
