The archaeological park is located inside an oak and chestnut forest, on the granite relief of Selene, in Ogliastra, a region of central-eastern Sardinia.
The site consists of a nuraghe with an agglomeration of huts and two giant tombs. The base of the Nuraghe advances. The burials have the canonical planimetric scheme: an apsidal body, a covered corridor and an architectural prospectus that opens to a hemicycle (exedra).
History of excavations
The two tombs of giants were excavated and restored in 1995, by Mauro Perra.
