The museum is located in the area of the former Jesuit Complex of the Purissima, traces the history of the church of Santa Chiara ad Iglesias from its origins to the eighteenth century, and was set up in collaboration with the Diocesan Historical Archive of Iglesias, starting in 2013. It is a journey relating to the salient phases of the life of the cathedral illustrated by stone materials, documents, drawings, graphics and photographs. There is a media library in the museum.
