The “Sigerro” Civic Museum is divided into different sections that can be visited at three separate locations: the main headquarters, at “Casa Pirinu”, houses the naturalistic and faunistic section; the “former Montegranatico” the mineralogy and paleontology section, while in the exhibition room of the municipal library there is a section dedicated to archaeological finds.
Why is it important to visit it
The Sigerro civic museum complex, which works in synergy with the management of the archaeological area of the s'Omu and s'Orcu nuragic complex and with the naturalistic one of the San Giovanni cave, summarizes and enhances in three distinct paintings the archaeological, cultural and naturalistic attractions of the territory of Domusnovae.
