The site is geographically located in a mountainous area rich in woods, passing from the fertile Trexenta plain to the rugged Gerrei hills.
These are large wall structures, water pipes and some small rooms. In the Byzantine era, the baths were reused for possibly monastic buildings, of which wall sections are still visible in the area surrounding the church of San Basilio (12th century?). It is likely that the baths were also used to find construction materials.
History of excavations
The structures were discovered and partially excavated in the early 90s of the twentieth century.
