The MAP (Archaeological and Paleobotanical Museum) of Perugas, in its chronological journey from the Paleolithic to the Middle Ages, exhibits finds from all over the territory of Anglona. Among the most interesting materials are the plant fossils of the petrified forest, dated about 18 million years ago, the oldest artifacts found so far in Sardinia, from the Lower Paleolithic period dated between 450,000 and 120,000 years ago, the statuette of Mother Goddess and Child referring to the Middle Neolithic period, the head of a warrior in white limestone from the Nuragic age and the gamma-hilted dagger in bronze, also from the Nuragic era.
The itinerary also includes finds that testify to the intense commercial relations of the Late Nuragic centers with the Phoenician-Punic and Roman populations. The Middle Ages are documented by majolica from the Churches of Chiaramonti, Martis, Perugas and Santa Maria Coghinas.
