The “Sebastiano Satta” school wedding occupies a large area between Angioy and Crispi streets and Piazza del Carmine, of which one side delimits, later concluded with the building that houses the T.A.R. Started in 1899 and inaugurated in 1904 in the original, then expanded nucleus, it was built on a design by engineers Dino De Gioannis and Fulgenzio Setti.
The building is part of the elementary schools built in the various districts of Cagliari and is part of the group of buildings inspired in whole or in part by the language of the Middle Ages, as evidenced by the Palazzo Vivanet and the Town Hall, not far away in an area booming at the beginning of the twentieth century.
The exterior shows neo-medieval stylistic references with a rustic or smooth limestone ashlar that marks the high base of the first two levels: here you can see portals and windows with round arches and, in the axis, small quadrangular windows. The two upper floors have exposed brick walls, the first with arched pointed windows with one or three lights and stone frames, the second and last level with arched windows divided into two or three lights by stone pillars. A protruding ledge concludes the building, surmounting a series of hanging arches that run around the perimeter and are connected with slender white stone pilasters, separating the openings of the upper belt.
