Capoterra, MuLAG - Santa Gilla Lagoon Museum

The Santa Gilla Lagoon Museum — MuLAG is housed in the rooms of Casa Spadaccino, a late 19th century villapadronale, in Localita Su Loi in Capoterra, near Cagliari.
The modern layout, distributed on two floors, allows you to immerse yourself in an active museum experience and to get to know the territory in depth by interacting with the contents thanks to the help of technology and installations created by artisans with natural materials.
The museum develops themes such as the flora and fauna of the Santa Gilla Lagoon, the salt mine and its inhabitants, the flamingo, the stories and legends of the territory and the fishing activities in the lagoon.
A visit to the museum is recommended for all ages and mediated by guides, adequately trained to meet the needs of everyone, even the most special. The museum is fully accessible.
The large and shaded garden helps facilitate classes/group visits. Casa Spadaccino also houses the CEAS Laguna di Santa Gilla Education and Sustainability Center of the Municipality of Capoterra.
