The museum has a large exhibition space that is divided into three distinct rooms, located between the Episcopal Gardens and the Archbishop's Seminary. The Exhibition Gallery, which houses temporary exhibitions of the historical and artistic heritage of the Diocese; the Hall of Saint Pius X designed to house the museum's permanent collection: simulacra, liturgical furnishings, vestments and other objects belonging to the Cathedral of Santa Maria; the Seminary Rooms that house the archaeological and numismatic collection of the Seminary.
Why it is important to visit it
there are many points of historical and artistic interest: from the 17th-19th century wooden statuary, to the modern silver and vestments from the Cathedral, to the exhibition space dedicated to the patron of the Archdiocese of Oristano: Sant'Archelao.
