The exhibition is curated by Antonello Carboni and Silvia M.R. Oppo.

“After all, it's just a game. With things. Rebus. How many times do we find no answers to life's riddles? We are still wondering in an attempt to at least save the phenomena. If we have found scientific answers to the deceptions of the eye for centuries, the interpretations for those activities proper to man that are masterfully hidden remain open and uncertain. So in relational dynamics, so in the product of man. We overload contemporary art with a hermetic, obscure language, which finds multiple answers at a given moment and in a given circumstance. Answers that vary over time, because we are variable and complex entities. The works on display become social actors in the vision of the world of the artist who produces them. The solution is for us to find the keystone of this encrypted and symbolic game. The artist emanates himself, invites us to the journey. Through the narrative and the process of reconfiguration, we overcome adversity and occupy a new and momentary place in the enigma of life. We disguise ourselves, we hide from the truth that we don't reveal. This is how we become small, we protect ourselves hidden between a teapot and a treat, we photograph the life that flows by. We are a graphic sign, a different but homogeneous presence, we live in our glass bell, our comfort zone. We are a leaf in a bag, we blend in. We become color, earth, we are strength, infinity, a horizon, a trace, we are the wind, a new and unknown alphabet, a faded photo, we are memory, we are a glimpse, we are the ship of Theseus. We navigate a constant and precarious balance in social seas, hidden but clearly visible, naked we represent the sum of the proportions that make us harmonious and necessary in an incessant struggle between pairs of opposites that define us in our entirety. And we play with life, without ever finding each other and without ever getting tired. In front of a Rebus.”

The exhibition will be open on Wednesday from 10:00 to 13:00 and from Thursday to Sunday from 10:00 to 13:00 and from 17:00 to 20:00, until November 26, 2023.
