Dualchi, Protonuraghe Cubas

The monument stands on the edge of the plateau that dominates the valley through which the Murtazzolu river flows.
The nuraghe, located near three tombs of giants and a nuragic fountain, is a building with circular corridors (diam. m 12.65/13.05), equipped with two entrances.
The tower (height 5.50/3.53 m) is built with stones, sketched and of various sizes, arranged in irregular rows.
The main entrance a, quadrangular (width 1.00 m; height 1.23 m) and closed by an lintel without a drain compartment, leads into a short trumped corridor (length m 1.75; width m 1.00/1.50) on which a large semi-elliptical niche opens up (length m 2.58; width m 1.20/1.30; height m 1, SO/1.8S) with projecting walls and a flat band roof.
On the left wall of the corridor there is the entrance to the second corridor, which develops curvilinally parallel to the outer wall (length 8.50 m; width 1.00 m; height 2.35 m).
On the right wall of the main corridor, the entrances to two secondary corridors open: the first is now interrupted by the collapse (length m 2.00; width m 0.90; height m 2.10), while the second (length m 4.50; width m 0.65/1.35) widens and leads, to the right, into a sort of elliptical compartment (length m 2.60; width m 0.50/0.95), and then continues - turning left towards the second entrance - in a stretch of corridor (length m 2.00; width m 0.60/0.90) interrupted by rubble.
The secondary entrance, built on the south-west side, has a quadrangular light (width 1.10 m; height 1.20 m above sea level) closed by a powerful lintel, and leads to a corridor behind that ends after 1.35 m.
Around the building, the remains of the extensive settlement are visible.
