The burial is located in a cork forest, at the northern foot of Monte di Deu, in inner Gallura, in northeastern Sardinia.
The Giants' Tomb of Pascareddha is one of the most interesting monuments in the Calangianus area. It belongs to the type of row burials with cented stele.
The burial partly preserves the rectangular and apsidal tomb, built with granite blocks arranged in regular rows.
The rectangular burial corridor (length 12.5 m; width 0.90 m; height 0.90 m), has walls built at the base with granite slabs fixed with a knife; on these are placed rows of slightly overhanging blocks. Today, 12 transverse slabs remain of the flat band roof. The hemicycle of the exedra (width 18.40 m) consists of orthostats — 10 in the s. wing and 6 in the d wing. — with a decreasing height from the center to the sides. The slabs have a well-finished exposed surface.
At the center of the exedra was located the bilitic stele of which, today, only the lower part (height 2.10 m) is preserved “in situ”. The slab has the usual relief frame and, in the center, the curved entrance door. The fragments of the hunched upper part are scattered around the burial today.
The tomb dates back to Middle Bronze, Recent Bronze.
History of excavations Excavation and
restoration of the monument were carried out in 1998 by Angela Antona.

How to get there
Leave the town of Tempio and take the SS 127 to Calangianus; after about 5 km, when you arrive at the junction for Nuchis, turn right into a road with a natural background, passing the railway line. Continue following the signs of the tourist sign that is located along the road and take a path to the right for about 800 m. After crossing the wooden bridge over the Badu Mela river, continue for another 200 m until you find the grave on the right, inside an oak grove.
