The remains of Antonio and Sebastiano Boi's distillery are located in a vast area that has become public, close to the parish church of the Assunta in the urban center.
The industrial plant was established in 1883 to remain active until the outbreak of World War II. The series of buildings, also used as military housing between 1943 and 1946, is now known under the name of Si 'e Boi: some structures remain embedded in a space arranged with public green spaces and, above all evident for the considerable height, the spectacular chimney, built in exposed bricks with solutions such as those found in the teeth, in the blind arches, in the moldings.
This is a beautiful example of industrial archeology, which individually recalls the chimneys of late-century working-class villages, visible especially in northern Italy and characterized by references to cultured neo-medieval architecture.
