Nuoro, Villa Antonietta

Nuoro, Villa Antonietta

Nuoro, Villa Antonietta

The villa is surrounded by greenery on the upper part of the city.
The villa has the forms of a medieval castle, widely spread in stately homes and villas built between the 19th and 20th centuries, with more or less obvious references to historical architecture.
It dates back to 1930 and stands out because of the high tower with sharp arched windows with a light or mullioned window and ended by blackbirds and woodpeckers, which are also filmed in other parts. In fact, the construction is divided into bodies of different heights, but all connected and is characterized by the use of exposed stone, which gives it a rather massive appearance. In the main front, inside a sharp partially blind arc, there is a protruding semicylindrical body with large windows that illuminate the interior.
