The Giara Museum, historical-naturalistic, is based on the territorial identity of the Giara di Gesturi. The content ranges from archeology, history, geology, fauna and flora; all connected to the territorial specificity of the Giara.
It is a newly designed structure with an exhibition itinerary created specifically to facilitate and stimulate the learning of children and young people. In the rooms it is possible to deepen the geological origin of the Giara: from the Miocene sea to the volcanoes of the Pliocene. In the archaeological section, finds from the oldest nuraghe in Sardinia are exhibited: the Protonuraghe Bruncu Màdugui. The naturalistic room gives ample emphasis to the floristic and faunistic peculiarities of the plateau.
