The museum house exhibits archaeological finds from the Phoenician, Punic and Roman periods found in the municipal territory, in the area of the ancient city of Bithia, today's Chia. There are artifacts for everyday use, but also grave goods and votive objects: lights, plates, amphorae.
Of particular interest is the reconstruction of a Phoenician-Punic tomb with its funerary equipment.
Why it is important to visit it
The visit allows you to reconstruct the lifestyle and daily activities of the peoples that have frequented and marked the territory. The highlight of the collection is the Phoenician-Punic tomb.
