The building is located with the main front on Viale Trento and a secondary façade on the avenue named after Luigi Merello, founder of a family of Ligurian entrepreneurs.
The façade is perfectly symmetrical and is spread over three floors concluded by a cornice with a parapet adorned with four statues. On both the first and second floors, some of the openings are surrounded by balconies with perforated terracotta railings. The building is characterized by a brick wall completed by a decorative apparatus exclusively made of terracotta, which is repeated in the pilasters, in the frames of the openings, in the caryatids that support the balcony above the main entrance, in the medallions and in the exuberant friezes.
