The town of Aggius was the epicenter of Gallura banditry for about three centuries starting from the mid-sixteenth century to the mid-nineteenth century. Housed in the historic building of the former Pretura, the Museum of Banditry is divided into 4 rooms and offers a special review of judicial files, acts and documents of criminal business trials, the description of the lives of some famous fugitives, the weapons used by the police to hunt down brigands and period costumes.
