The building has been part of the vast complex destined to host the Sardinian Trade Fair since 1954.
The building is due to Domenico Mezzini and Ubaldo Badas (1956).
The external façade on Viale Diaz is simply closed by a protruding frame and is spread between a decorative ceramic band and the base covered with stone of different colors, variously arranged, which contain a grilled element.
The internal front of the exhibition complex, on the other hand, has an overhang obtained with the use of wood, grilled brick, decorative ceramic elements by Giuseppe Silecchia and Emilia Palomba. The most interesting aspect is certainly the “artisanal” attention according to a manual skill that deals with the different materials used variously and cleverly combined, as in other buildings by Badas, attentive to the shapes and enhancement of materials, typical of his post-war design activity.
