The Region of Sardinia participated in the 82nd Venice International Film Festival with various activities and presentations dedicated to cinema and the protagonists of the audiovisual industry: previews, new funding opportunities, training courses, networking, magazines.

Previews
- The first two episodes of Marco Bellocchio's Portobello series, shot in part in the former prisons of Oristano, Sassari and Cagliari thanks to the logistical and productive support of the Sardegna Film Commission;
- The film Confiteor — How I Discovered That I Would Not Have Made the Revolution by Bonifacio Angius presented at the Giornate degli Autori; - The short film Restare by Fabio Bobbio produced by Ginko Film, presented in the Short Italian Cinema section of the International Film Critics' Week (SIC @SIC).

Funding
The Sardegna Film Commission Foundation has presented the new 2025 Calls: incentives aimed at supporting the audiovisual supply chain for a total of 1,050,000 euros, divided into four lines of intervention:
- Location Scouting Fund: intended to cover up to 90% of the costs incurred for location research activities in Sardinia;
- Hospitality Fund: for the expenses of food, accommodation and transport incurred by productions during filming in Sardinia;
- Cagliari Filming Fund: intended for those who choose the regional capital as a privileged set;
- Promotion Fund: calls for proposals to be published soon to support distribution and circuit of the “Made in Sardinia” works, already completed or in an advanced post-production phase.

Networking - Sardinia as a Mediterranean hub
The networking event on September 2, at Isola Edipo (Spazio Extravaganza), brought together institutions, producers, authors, directors and professionals in the sector: a discussion aimed at consolidating the strategic role of Sardinia as a Mediterranean hub for audiovisual production.
Lollove Mag — Sardinian Views, Universal Visions
Presented in Venice the monographic issue of the magazine Lollove entirely dedicated to cinema on the Island, created in collaboration with the Sardegna Film Commission Foundation. The editorial project presents Sardinia as an integrated creative system between cinema, visual arts, design, innovation and territory.

Training
The Region of Sardinia has funded three first-level Masters organized by the University of Cagliari in collaboration with the Sardegna Film Commission, Humanitarian Society—Cineteca Sarda and Solinas Prize, AUSI Consortium (Sulcis-Iglesiente university association), Province of Sulcis-Iglesiente:
- Direction and production of documentaries
- Screenplay- Management for cinema and audiovisual
