The site is located a few kilometers from the town of Triei on the plain overlooking the D. bank of the Murta River.
The complex consists of a nuraghe, an antemural and a village.
The nuraghe, built with large granite blocks, includes a central tower to which at least two side towers have been added on the front, now undetectable in their entirety, as they are affected by collapses and burial.
A vast antewall, which encompasses at least four towers, with an irregular curvilinear pattern, surrounds the complex.
In the front area, the remains of numerous circular huts - even of considerable size - and of numerous residential structures with an apsed rectangular plan, leaning against the internal profile of the antewall, document the presence of an extensive settlement.
History of excavations
In the years 1984 and 1985, the complex was excavated by Mario Sanges.
