Villa Falchi dates back to the early twentieth century and is attributed to the project of the engineer Raffaele Oggiano, it is located in the Cappuccini district, an urban area that experienced its period of greatest development in the early twentieth century, in relation to the city's building expansion and the spread of the Liberty style in Sassari. The villa is located on a rectangular lot, between Viale Caprera and Via Goffredo Mameli. The garden extends into the remaining land, along the side and back of the building. The green space is configured as an ornamental garden with geometric flower beds, delimited by curbs and/or paved paths, according to a simple and regular layout, probably attributable to the original construction phase. The garden is divided into two main areas, both rectangular in shape. The first develops laterally to the building and the second is located at the back of the villa and is organized in two rectangular flower beds separated by a central path. The two areas are located at different heights and are connected to each other by two steps, which mark the passage between the lower and upper levels of the garden. There are two entrances: a pedestrian entrance from Viale Caprera and a driveway from the back of the villa, on Via Goffredo Mameli.

Aspects of interest
The perception is that of a measured and ordered ornamental garden, in which the compositional simplicity and the clarity of distribution enhance the relationship with the building. The design of the green spaces and paths highlights a rational organization, consistent with the representative character of the villa and with the residential context of the early twentieth century. The most common botanical species are citrus fruits, common fig, dwarf palm, bay leaf, pomegranate.
