The Palazzo dell'Insinuazione, home of the Municipal Historical Archive, with the adjoining garden is inserted in the historic urban fabric of the center of Sassari. The garden was acquired by the City Council and annexed to the building recently, in the early years of the 21st century. The origin of the green space is unknown, except for a reference on the site of the Municipal Historical Archive relating to a transfer of ownership of the building. The garden is surrounded by private buildings that overlook it and by other green spaces and internal courtyards. It looks like a small green space that houses a series of ornamental fruit trees, and is accessible from inside the building and from another neighboring room owned by the municipality. The composition of the green area is simple. The space is entirely occupied by trees arranged in a pseudo regular mesh. It does not have internal paths. The area is characterized by fruit trees, there are citrus trees and a loquat plant.
