The museum is located in the historic center of the town. The building is a typical Gallura house from the early nineteenth century, with an exposed granite façade and wooden floors. The museum itinerary is divided into two levels; on the ground floor, immediately after the entrance, the traditional kitchen furnishings (coghina) were set up following the styles that characterized the tastes of the second half of the nineteenth century and the first decades of the twentieth century. In addition, since 2017, the room has hosted a permanent exhibition of traditional breads from the various countries of Sardinia. The upper floor has two bedrooms with wooden floors. The furniture consists of traditional furniture as well as the equipment.
