The nuraghe is located on a basaltic ridge, at an altitude of 350 m above sea level. The monument consists of a central tower on which, in the quadrant facing NW, a second ruined tower rests.
The main tower, consisting of basalt blocks of different sizes, is preserved for a maximum remaining height of about 8 meters. The place where the monument was erected was partially leveled through the use of huge basalt blocks that, in the arch exposed to S, were then extended to constitute another environment, perhaps another tower.
The entrance to the monument, surrounded by dense vegetation, faces E. The corridor behind it has projecting walls: a niche opens up on the wall above, while on the wall of S. there is the opening of the staircase. The room, with a circular plan, is marginalized by two facing niches. The staircase, easily passable until almost the end of its development, led to the upper chamber. This, with a circular plan, has a niche from which a narrow descending tunnel branches off that leads to a small room above the entrance corridor, illuminated by a loophole.
From the secondary tower, which has been raised up, in the direction of S, there is a wall that partially covers that side of the tower and in which the corridor leading to the tower itself developed. A large village, suspected on the surface by stones and numerous ceramic finds, stretched around the nuraghe.
